Law enforcement officials say texting while driving is leading to accidents on the roadways. Some Missouri legislators are even looking to bar text messaging while driving.

And driving under intextication appears to be risky, dangerous behavior.
"If you're going down the road and you're trying to text, you find yourself weaving and not really paying attention," said Lt. Jim McNiell, commander of the Missouri Highway Patrol Troop E satellite office in Sikeston.
McNiell said texting while driving is leading to accidents on the roadways.
