Transfer to road and bridge fund may top $150K

CHARLESTON -- Mississippi County may need to double or even triple money transfers to its road and bridge department.

During the regular County Commission meeting Thursday, Presiding Commissioner Jim Blumenberg said some of the county roads are in really bad shape. He said he has noticed a lot of roads on the south end of the county have apparently deteriorated just recently.
