Area golf tourney honored by AJGA

BRASELTON, Ga. -- For the second consecutive year, the Dalhousie Junior Championship earned the American Junior Golf Association's Tournament of the Year award, the AJGA announced Thursday. The second-year tournament, held Aug. 11-14 at Dalhousie Golf Club in Cape Girardeau, Mo., once again showcased the AJGA, its members, sponsors and host facility better than any other tournament on the Association's 84-event schedule, and became the first ever repeat winner of the award.
