SHS has one qualify for state tournament

FARMINGTON -- Sikeston Bulldog freshmen golfer Evan Deere is heading to the MSHSAA Class 3 State Golf Championships. Deere fired a round of 82 Monday at Crowne Point Golf Club in Farmington during the Class 3 District 1 Tournament, earning sixth place honors.

HOLCOMB -- The New Madrid County Central Lady Eagles softball team downed the Holcomb Lady Hornets 16-0 Monday to move to a record of 11-2 on the season.

CHARLESTON -- The Sikeston Bulldogs tennis team picked up a road win Monday, as they downed the Charleston Bluejays 8-1.
