Jackson scores five in sixth inning to slip past Sikeston

CAPE GIRARDEAU -- Over the course of four innings on Monday evening the Sikeston Bulldogs baseball team appeared to be heading towards another SEMO Conference Tournament title. In high school baseball however, games last for seven innings and the Jackson Indians broke out their bats before their half of the seventh inning ever rolled around.

Notre Dame 9, Kelly 0

The Notre Dame Bulldogs defeated the Kelly Hawks 9-0 on Monday for their chance to play the Dexter Bearcats for fifth place in the SEMO Conference tournament.

Notre Dame 8, Dexter 2

Mark Hagedorn went 2-for-4 with two doubles, while Jeremy Essner went 3-for-4 with a double and three RBIs.
