Hawks knock off state-ranked Clearwater 4-3

PIEDMONT -- The Kelly Hawks bounced right back from Tuesday's loss at Scott City to defeat the Clearwater Tigers on the road Wednesday afternoon by a final of 4-3 in eight innings.

Cooter 5, S. Pemiscot 2

COOTER -- The Cooter Wildcats won their 17th game in-a-row Wednesday afternoon, defeating South Pemiscot 5-2.

Charleston 8, Woodland 7

MARBLE HILL -- Jesse Long stroked three hits, including a home run and double.

Advance 13, Scott Central 5

SIKESTON -- Cory Cooper and Dylan Dunnivan each drove in three runs as the Hornets posted the road win.

Scott-Miss honors

CHAFFEE -- The Scott-Miss All-Conference baseball team was released on Wednesday with Scott City's Shae Simmons coming away with player of the year honors. East Prairie coach Gary Scott was named Co-Coach of the Year along with Scott City's Lance Amick.
