SIKESTON -- To celebrate its 50th anniversary, the Sikeston Little Theatre is doing a little something different. Instead of focus on acting, it will put the spotlight on music, with a "Golden Anniversary Concert," featuring 17 songs from the 20th century.

"We're really excited about it," said Kathy Jackson, musical director of the concert. "We just think it's going to be a great show."

Other directors include Ed Cowan, who will lead the orchestra, and Joanne Sullivan. There will 7 p.m. shows May 28 through 30 and a 2 p.m. matinee on May 31. Tickets will go on sale for non-members on Thursday at Collins Music Company in Sikeston.
