Steele standoff ends with arrest

STEELE -- A Steele resident was left unharmed after barricading himself into a residence on Monday with a firearm, threatening to harm himself.

The city police department was notified of the situation on Monday, after family members, afraid for their lives, fled the residence and contacted officials, according to a news release.
