DPS investigating found firearms

SIKESTON -- Officers with the Sikeston Department of Public Safety are investigating the recovery of two firearms on Wednesday night.

At approximately 9 p.m., officers were called to the 800 block of Ruth after two firearms were found in grass behind a residence. The firearms are believed to have been stolen from a vehicle on the 800 block of Ruth in May.
