Illinois county owes $10,000

CHARLESTON -- Alexander County, Ill., once again owes the Mississippi County Juvenile Detention Center a substantial debt.

Kevin Hess, superintendent of the juvenile facility, reported to County Commissioners on the outstanding balance during the regular County Commission meeting Thursday.

"They're right at $10,000 in the hole," Hess said.
