BENTON -- A vendor's programmer will need to meet with Scott County's information technology specialist before Scott County commissioners approve a new software for the county assessor's office.

During their regular meeting Tuesday, commissioners met with Teresa Houchin, county assessor; Mark Hensley, county collector; County Clerk Rita Milam; and Ginger Lynch, marketing director for VillaGIS of Hollister, to discuss VillaGIS assessor software.
