Dog theft ring uncovered

Authorities have returned four puppies to their owners

BENTON -- A Scott County Sheriff's Department investigation has resulted in three arrests and the recovery of numerous dogs.

Kevin C. Rhodes, 20, of Chaffee and Larry D, Tanner, 21, of Delta, are charged with two felony counts of stealing animals. Bond is set at $5,000 on Rhodes and $10,000 on Tanner.

Larry Babb, 27, of Scott City is charged with one felony count of stealing an animal. Bond is set at $5,000.
