Squirrels pour on late runs to ease past NEMO

JACKSON -- What started out as a close game between the Charleston Squirrels and their first round opponent Northeast Mississippi Valley, did not end that way.

The Squirrels poured on 11 runs in the sixth inning to dispatch their first round foe in a 15-1 sixth inning win to begin the 2009 Sr. Babe Ruth Missouri State Championship tournament in Jackson.
