Safety is concern as students return to classroom

SIKESTON -- Motorists are likely to notice a change in traffic this week and in the coming weeks as students are heading back to school.

Whether walking, biking or driving to school, young people will be on the move, and it's critical for drivers to be alert, especially near school zones, playgrounds and bicycle paths, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.
