Scott County tax rates approved

BENTON -- A tax hearing for Scott County was held Thursday.

The following rates were approved: $0.3027 for road and bridge; $0.01 for Johnson Grass, and zero county tax. The lack of a county tax was put into effect per voter approval earlier this year for a half-cent general revenue sales tax.
