CHARLESTON -- With only two players with any varsity experience during last season, the Charleston Lady Bluejays tennis team still ended the year with an impressive 9-6 record.
Entering the 2009-10 season, the Lady Bluejays will return seven players from last year's squad in hopes to repeat that success -- and then some.
"Last year's regular season was alright," Charleston head coach Seth Benton said. "The team was very inexperienced. [I] only had two players with any varsity experience. I would've liked to have finished better in the district tournament, but there were some good teams."
