Portageville, Dexter shine in scrimmage

Portageville's Dominique Walker gave area football fans just a little peek at what to expect from the Portageville Bulldogs this upcoming football season in the annual Dexter football jamboree at Dexter High School.

After suffering a winless drought for the past three seasons, the Bulldogs began to start wondering if the first and last preseason game of the high school football season put them on a bad road before the year even began.

But, after the display that Walker and the rest of the Bulldogs put on, they might have made that U-turn.

"That means a lot," Portageville head coach Lee Wallace said.
