CHARLESTON -- Mississippi County will join those appealing to Congress to keep in place a bridge program many counties consider to be very important.
During the regular County Commission meeting Thursday, County Clerk Junior DeLay presented a fax from Dick Burke, executive director of the Missouri Association of Counties, regarding proposed legislation which would end the Off-Systems Bridge Replacement Program.
