Local man sentenced for illegal possession of gun, drug trafficking

CAPE GIRARDEAU (SMNS) -- A Caruthersville man will serve more than four years in federal prison on charges of illegal firearm and drug charges.

Tommy L. Brown, 49, was sentenced Friday to 57 months on one felony count of being a previously convicted felon in possession of a firearm and one felony count of distribution of cocaine base.
