DEXTER -- The overpowering strikes of the Scott City Lady Rams led to the eventual downfall of the Dexter Lady Bearcats on Tuesday night as they lost in straight sets, 25-14 and 25-17.

"I think our girls came out ready to play tonight, but it just wasn't enough against a great Scott City team," Dexter head coach Kris Vandeven said. "They have three hitters that can hit the ball very well."
