County nuisance ordinance being drafted

CHARLESTON -- Mississippi County officials will soon have the authority to address junk, weeds and vicious dogs in unincorporated parts of the county.

During their regular meeting Thursday, commissioners approved hiring attorney Tom Cunningham of the Cunningham, Vogel and Rost, P.C., legal firm in St. Louis to draft a nuisance ordinance for the county.
