Sikeston netters fall to Fredericktown

SIKESTON -- The Sikeston Lady Bulldog tennis team may have played one of their best matches of the season on Tuesday afternoon but fell short to the visiting Fredericktown Lady Blackcats 6-3

Jacarra Lampkin and Kelsey Dial each won their respective singles matches as well as their doubles match to earn Sikeston's three points.

"Even though we came away short of a victory it was our best match of the season as a team," Sikeston head coach Russ Dial said. "Fredericktown has a quality team and we played them tough. With districts approaching shortly, this is a good sign."
