Tiny Touch: 10th-year program offers advice to young mothers

Leonna Heuring, Staff Licensed practical nurse Victoria Cade, family support worker for Mississippi County Health Department's Tiny Touch program, goes over literature with new mother, Brittany Helms of East Prairie. Now in its 10th year, the program aims to offer support and educate new mothers, especially those who are teenagers. From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, the Charleston Kiwanis Club is sponsoring a drive to collect new baby items for Tiny Touch families. For more information, see Page 2A.
