Second man is sentenced in fraud scheme

CAPE GIRARDEAU -- A second man involved in a mortgage fraud scheme involving the sale of residential real estate in Sikeston was sentenced to federal prison on Tuesday.

Robert P. Wrolstad of O'Fallon was sentenced to 108 months on a 34-count indictment for his involvement in the scheme, said Acting United States Attorney Michael W. Reap. After his sentencing on Tuesday, the district court remanded Wrolstad to the custody of the United States Marshals to serve his sentence.
