Charleston rebounds with big win over Pine Bluff

NEW MADRID -- The Charleston Bluejays showed just what they can do when they are hot from the field.

After a dismal shooting display in their first game against the Memphis Central Warriors at the 15th annual Riverbend Classic, the Bluejays came out on fire against the Pine Bluff Zebras on Saturday afternoon as they won their first game of the year in a 65-55 game.

Memphis Central 62, Poplar Bluff 31

NEW MADRID -- The Memphis Central Warriors avenged last year's loss to the Poplar Bluff Mules on Saturday night with a 62-31 victory.
