SHS uses strong defense in 52-46 win
SIKESTON -- The Sikeston Lady Bulldogs put together an impressive defensive performance in their season opener at the Sikeston Field House on Monday evening that in turn led to win No. 1 for the Lady Bulldogs. The 52-46 victory over the visiting Doniphan Donettes didn't come easily, but the domino effect of hard work paid off for SHS.
In junior varsity action,
the Lady Bulldogs came back from a 14-6 halftime deficit to make a game out of it in the second half, but fell 32-28 to the Donettes.
