Sikeston Standard Democrat: High School Sports: Oran comes out hot, holds off Kelly 64-58 (12/02/09)

ORAN -- To call Tuesday evening's Oran Invitational Tournament match-up between the Oran Eagles and the Kelly Hawks a barnburner would be an understatement. The game, which finished in a 64-58 victory in favor of the Eagles, wasn't close from start to finish but by the time the fourth quarter neared an end the game was completely undecided.

Oran clearly took control of the game from the start as they jumped on top in the first quarter, leading 17-2 early in the quarter and 19-9 heading into the second.
