CLARKTON -- Things might have been different if the Risco Tigers could have duplicated their second half performance.

After getting down by as much as 30 points on Friday night the Tigers quickly closed that gap to just 12 points late in the fourth quarter. However, it was too big of a hill to climb with not enough time to do it.

"If we would have started that pushing, being active-mentality earlier, it might have been a different story," Risco head coach Brandon Blankenship said. "We started the game by just standing around. We started moving a little bit but we could never get over the hump."

Gosnell (10-2) came away with a 77-62 championship win over the Tigers in the 31st Annual Clarkton Holiday Invitational tournament.
