The Sikeston Department of Public Safety, the Miner Police Department and the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to a single-vehicle accident that happened at about 8:03 a.m. Wednesday when a vehicle traveling southbound on Interstate 55 went through a guard rail and landed on eastbound Highway 60 below. The driver and two passengers, who were from Illinois, were taken to Missouri Delta Medical Center by ambulance for their injuries.
