East Prairie man gets prison time

CAPE GIRARDEAU -- A Mississippi County man was sentenced on Friday to prison on federal drug charges before U.S. District Judge Stephen N. Limbaugh Jr.

James Lee Powers, 27, of East Prairie was sentenced to 135 months imprisonment on one count of possession of a listed chemical with intent to manufacture methamphetamine.
