Man sentenced for illegal firearms possession

CAPE GIRARDEAU -- A Caruthersville man was sentenced today for unlawful possession of firearms, announced United States Attorney Richard G. Callahan.

Michael D. Emery, 45, was sentenced to 41 months on one felony count of being a previously convicted felon in possession of firearms.
