NEW MADRID -- Volunteers rolled up their sleeves, working with a determination and, not unexpectedly, a smile. The New Madrid Historical Museum's display cases were going back up.
"Isn't it great!" observed museum board member Ann Evans Copeland as she paused from cleaning a diorama of early Indian settlements.
