Operating budget approved for 2010

BENTON -- With a conservative budget having worked out well for Scott County last year, county officials have charted a similar course for this year.

Commissioners approved the county's 2010 operating budget during their regular meeting Tuesday.

"There's nothing spectacular in the budget, just enough to make the county operate," County Clerk Rita Milam, the county's budget officer, said, during the public hearing.
