Storm watch: Wintry blast is blowing in

SIKESTON - Southeast Missourians are keeping their eyes on the weather forecast as the prospect of a winter storm is likely.

The National Weather Service at Paducah, Ky., said an upper level storm system is approaching the region and will move slowly east across the area tonight and Friday.
