When you are young, a winter snow storm is a delight. In New Madrid Friday afternoon, youngsters enjoyed sledding even without any hills. Tripp Cravens, 9, holds on tight as he makes a curve. On Saturday morning snow continued to fall and winds created drifts causing more problems for drivers for nearly all of the southern half of Missouri. At 8 a.m. Saturday, the Sikeston Power Station reported six inches of snow had fallen.
