Proposed K-9 program to be in operation by the end of the year
MINER -- The city of Miner should have a drug dog on duty by the end of the year.
Chad Melton, the Miner police officer slated to become the city's first K-9 officer, said he recently got the OK from the Miner Board of Aldermen to begin moving forward with the K-9 program.
