George Jackson and Maurice James of Sikeston fill out applications after speaking with vendors at Wednesday's four-county job fair held at the Clinton Building in Sikeston. The two said they enjoyed talking to the 20 vendors and "they were very receptive and helpful. This is a really nice thing everyone is doing for the community," said James. Missy Marshall, executive director of the Sikeston Area Chamber of Commerce, one of the event sponsors, said a diverse group of about 200 people, several with a lot of work experience, walked through the fair.
