Child hit by car in New Madrid

NEW MADRID - A 6-year-old child is in serious condition after being struck by a car.

According to New Madrid County Sheriff Terry Stevens, his department was notified of a hit-and-run accident at 3:30 p.m. Monday on Pinnell Street.
