PERRYVILLE -- The Sikeston Lady Bulldogs pulled off a dramatic comeback win over one of their district rivals on Tuesday night beating the Perryville Lady Pirates 4-2.

Sikeston was down 2-0 at halftime but two goals apiece by Kristen King and Keyonna Blissett put the Lady Bulldogs on top for good in the second half.

"This was a nice win against a district foe," Sikeston head coach Derrick Long said. "Especially since they are one of the favorites to win our district. We came out with fire and we clawed back. It was a big win mentally for us."

King scored Sikeston's first goal with an assist from Kathrine Inman. Blissett answered with an assist from Emily Eaves which was followed by King's second goal off of a penalty kick. Blissett capped off the win with her second goal with an assist from Madison Chaney.

The junior varsity finished their match in a 2-2 tie. Taylor Kirkpatrick and Katherine Inman each scored goals for the jayvee.
