CHAFFEE -- Scott City's Skylar Cobb was named the 2010 Scott-Mississippi Conference Baseball Player of the Year.
Cobb, a senior, helped lead the Rams to a 17-5 record including a district title where he and pitched Scott City to a 3-0 win over Charleston in the championship game. Earlier in the tournament, Cobb pitched a perfect game over Kelly and tossed a no-hitter earlier in the season.
Cobb was one of four Rams to be named All-Conference First Team. Scott City head coach Lance Amick was named Coach of the Year. A complete list can be found in today's Scoreboard.
