Caruthersville woman charged with fraud

CARUTHERSVILLE -- A Caruthersville in-home health care provider faces felony Medicaid fraud charges, Missouri Attorney General Chris Koster said Friday.

Crystal D. Abernathy of Caruthersville is charged with 4 counts of making a false statement to receive a health care payment, a class C felony punishable by up to seven years in prison.
