Jury finds Rowe guilty

Sikeston man accused of a sex charge will be sentenced in July

BENTON -- A Sikeston man has been convicted of statutory sodomy.

Hernando Rowe, 39, was found guilty Friday of first degree statutory sodomy by a jury after a two-day trial, according to a news release from Scott County Prosecutor Paul R. Boyd.

The case was tried in New Madrid County on a change of venue and conducted before Judge Fred Copeland.
