Group to learn about area health care needs

Wednesday, June 23, 2010

SIKESTON -- The Missouri Foundation for Health, which provides grant funding for about two-thirds of the state, wants to learn more about the health care needs in the areas it serves. And the group is asking individuals to get involved in the process.

"What we're trying to do is assess what community needs are out there related to healthcare," said Amy Stringer Hessel, program officer with the MFH. She will lead a discussion at a luncheon planned to begin at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at the Clinton Building Community Center in Sikeston.
