Several races highlight ballot in Mississippi County

CHARLESTON -- Several Mississippi County office holders have an opponent to get past in the primary election if they are to appear on the November ballot for another term in office.

On the Democrat Party's primary ballot, Circuit Clerk Leigh Ann Colson will face challenger Dottie McKenzie; Hubert "Junior" DeLay, county clerk, is up against Clinton Wolford; George Bays is competing with Judy Rolwing, the recorder of deeds; and Treasurer Sandra Smoot Morrow is facing a challenge from Tonya Triplett Pullen.
