Midway opens Tuesday with good food, rides and fun

SIKESTON -- Fields gleaming with rows of white bolls is a clear signal it is time for food, fun and fellowship at the American Legion's 66th Annual Cotton Carnival.

"I remember back when I was a kid, I was from Morehouse and met up with kids I knew from Sikeston," said Gene Stroud, grounds chairman for this year's Cotton Carnival.
