CHAFFEE -- The East Prairie Eagles may not forget their 34-point loss to Mountain View Liberty last week, but dominating the Chaffee Red Devils in a 42-0 victory Friday night may help ease that pain.

The Eagles (4-2) did as they pleased at the newly named Mark Whitaker Memorial Field and Terry Glenzy Track and Field Complex in Chaffee as East Prairie ruined the Devils' homecoming festivities.

From the Eagles' opening drive they were in control. An 8-play, 67-yard drive ended on a 3-yard run by Aaron Miller, his first of four times he's see the end zone.

In four of East Prairie's seven drives under center, they reached pay dirt. Two or their three non-scoring drives were cut short by the end of halftime and regulation.

East Prairie gained 356 total yards with Aaron Miller leading them on the ground with 100 yards and two rushing touchdowns. East Prairie quarterback Connor Scott threw for 125 yards and one touchdown.

Chaffee (2-4) was down 13-0 at the end of the first quarter and 21-0 at the half. East Prairie scored on their first play from scrimmage in the second half on a 50-yard reverse to JT Aycock. Aaron Miller capped off the night with a 42-yard interception return for a touchdown.
