Search for suspect continues

BULLETIN - The Sikeston Department of Public Safety announced Friday, Lorenzo Ware has turned himself into authorities.

SIKESTON -- Three robbery suspects are in custody, and a fourth is being sought by the Sikeston Department of Public Safety.

DPS officers have arrested Sheantie L. McCauley, 26; Tyrese S. Bateman, 17; and Chris Boyd, 19, all of Sikeston for the Oct. 1 armed robbery of an 89-year-old Sikeston man. Being sought and believed to be in hiding is Sikeston resident Lorenzo Maurice Ware Jr., 20.

According to Sgt. Jim McMillen, public information officer for DPS, the armed robbery occurred just after midnight on Oct. 1 at an apartment at 535 N. Ranney.
