CHAFFEE -- For the second straight week, the Chaffee Red Devils were shut out as the visiting Malden Green Wave posted a 35-0 win on Friday night at Mark Whitaker Memorial Field in Chaffee.

The Green Wave wasted little time gaining an early lead as Malden quarterback Tanner Murphy connected on his first of three touchdowns just four minutes into the first quarter hitting Quentin Jackson from 13 yards out.

An 8-yard touchdown catch from Percy Johnson with 3:33 left in the first quarter made in 13-0 Malden. 33 seconds later, Malden's Patrick Wilson returned a 25-yard interception giving the Green Wave a 19-0 lead in the first quarter.

A 2-yard run by Wilson in the second quarter and a 17-yard scamper by Murphy in the third, sealed the game for Malden.

Murphy led Malden with 13 completions for 232 yards and one interception.

Chaffee running back Tyson Estes had 75 yards on 12 carries while quarterback Cody Payne went 7-of-17 for 63 yards.
