SIKESTON -- The Westwood Hills Country Club from Poplar Bluff won the SEMO Cup on Saturday at the Bootheel Golf Club.
Ten Southeast Missouri clubs were represented by their best 12 players to participate in the nine-hole Ryder Cup hole formats over 36 holes. The formats were best ball, scramble, Chapman alternate shot and alternate shot.
The scores were low as golfers took advantage of weather and course conditions with Westwood Hills posting a 687 to earn the win, followed by Kimbeland Country Club in Jackson following with a 700. The Bootheel Golf Course was third with a 704.
