FARMINGTON -- The Sikeston seventh and eighth grade football teams finished their seasons on Saturday by winning two games from the Farmington Knights.
The seventh grade Bulldogs rolled over Farmington 48-12, getting touchdowns from Dominique Dyes, Jaylen Mallory, Ernest Fobbs and Nathan Hampton. The seventh grade Bulldogs finished the season with a perfect 5-0 record.
Sikeston also had no problem with Farmington in eighth grade action, rolling over the hosts 48-6. Marquez Newman, Dustin Oakes, Corbyn Blissett, Louis Galang, Trevion Moore, Dondriel English and Luke Williams all scored touchdowns for the Bulldogs.
The eighth grade team finished their season with a record of 4-2, winning their last three games convincingly.
Cape Central 19
CAPE GIRARDEAU -- Erica Peet led the seventh grade Lady Bulldogs to a 34-19 win over Cape Central with 16 points on Tuesday night.
Keleigh Mallory added eight points while Hayly Chapman chipped in six.

CAPE GIRARDEAU -- The Sikeston eighth grade lost 20-18 on Monday at the hands of Cape Central.
Sikeston led 15-14 after three quarters but was outscored 6-3 in the fourth quarter.
Sikeston head coach Keyth Blissett said there was major improvement on the offensive end and his team competed well. They just have to learn how to finish a game.
